Tree Plantation – National Safety Week 2020

National safety week – 4th March 2020.

We at actuate institute of fire and safety institute Satara. Today we have arrange different activities through out the day at the start of the day we comes together in college and make preparation of our activities at 10.00 AM we started our tree plantation program in kondave village.

TREE PLANTATION:

We all students went to Kondave village. We met the villagers Mr. Mohit Chorage, Umesh Gade, Pravin Gade, Nikhil Mane etc. We also meet woman’s self help group Mrs. Asha chorage , Savita Mane, Seema Kshirsagar, etc. We all together invited peoples of the village for tree plantation. At the first our trainy safety officers Rushikesh Gudekar, Sanket Bodake, gives an important information about tree plantation. They approach the people & share importance about tree plantation, need of planting trees. Plantations of trees is important as they improve the life and fulfil essential needs of mankind. During photosynthesis, the trees breakdown food materials and consume carbon dioxide. Resultantly with the help of sunlight, the trees produce carbohydrates. Trees cleans the climate by absorbing carbon dioxide from the environment and relesing oxygen. the tree cools the environment through there leaves by absorbing Sun heat. Thus there occur cooling in the atmosphere the trees provide shadow to houses and streets. The trees also have medical importance. Then we all peoples make a tree plantation program by planting corps of mango, tamarind, hibiscus.
