Our students and teacher visited Sandeep Fire Station Satara. Mr. Sandeep teaches our students gave information about spare parts of fire extinguisher & how to clean and refill it.

2. Safety Pin
3. Metal Container
4. Deep Tube
5. C02
6. Nitrogen Cartage

Material used while refilling the fire extinguisher.
1. Dry Chemical Power
2. Mechanical Foam
3.  Water + solution

Step by step process of cleaning & refilling of cartage:
1. Open extinguisher
2. Cleaning of dust & rust
3. Refill cartage with C02 & replace with old cartage
4. Refill extinguisher with water or DCP (Dry Chemical Power)
5. Add cartage
6. Hydraulic test to check whether extinguisher’s life is ok or not.
